Well, this confirms my "mild discomfort" during Boston.  This is a side view and a top view of my right foot:


And this little piggy stays home for the next few weeks while his friends go do fun things!

Now that I know what a stress fracture feels like (I'd rank it as "annoying"), I'll know to back off before it becomes an all-growed-up-for-realz-fracture (which ranks as a wee bit beyond annoying).

Also, now that I have all this "free time," I'm going to dive into the ever-looming project of sharing photos from an impromptu trip I took at the beginning of the year.
